Description

CEPLATTYN R-VGP was especially developed to meet the requirements of the US Environmental Protection Agency for Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EAL) and thus comply with the Vessel General Permit (VGP).

CEPLATTYN R-VGP is a black grease with special solid lubricants and highly effective anti-corrosion and anti-wear additives. CEPLATTYN R-VGP shows an excellent adhesion even on wet surfaces and is resistant to fresh and salt water.

Field of application

CEPLATTYN R-VGP is intended for the lubrication of wire ropes, sliding guides, driving units, and open gearings, e.g. in lifting systems, environmentally sensitive areas, such as harbours, ships, water locks, etc.

In addition to that CEPLATTYN R-VGP is suitable for the lubrication of screw couplings and buffer plates of rail vehicles.

Method of application

CEPLATTYN R-VGP is applied manually by brush or glove or via suitable rope lubricators. CEPLATTYN R-VGP is pumpable in central lubrication systems.
