CEPLATTYN R-VGP was especially developed to meet the requirements of the US Environmental Protection Agency for Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EAL) and thus comply with the Vessel General Permit (VGP). CEPLATTYN R-VGP is a black grease with special solid lubricants and highly effective anti-corrosion and anti-wear additives. CEPLATTYN R-VGP shows an excellent adhesion even on wet surfaces and is resistant to fresh and salt water. Field of application CEPLATTYN R-VGP is intended for the lubrication of wire ropes used in environmentally sensitive areas, such as harbours, ships, water locks, etc. In addition to that CEPLATTYN R-VGP is suitable for the lubrication of screw couplings and buffer plate of rail vehicles.
